Wagner Prep SAT Course

An 8-week kick-off program that builds the foundation for SAT success

College admissions success starts with a clear testing strategy.

The SAT is one of the first major admissions milestones. Starting early ensures your student has the scores, the confidence, and the strategy to keep the rest of the process on track.

A strong SAT score can help your student:

  • Stand out at selective colleges

  • Qualify for scholarships and merit aid

  • Reduce senior year stress

Fall Registration closes October 3. Each course is limited to 10 students

The Wagner Prep Method

Our proven framework combines expert teaching, adaptive strategies, and data-driven feedback to help students approach the SAT with confidence and clarity.

Three-Test Philosophy — We lower the pressure on any single test day by viewing each as part of a cycle: the first is a starting point, the second focuses on improvement, and the third builds confidence and maximizes superscore potential.

Aligned Timing— Each course starts 8 weeks before an official SAT, ensuring students are fully prepared for their first test.

Expert Design — Built by Founder Mike Wagner and Head of Instruction Marley Perlstein, who bring 20 years of test prep experience.

Proven Teaching Model — “I do, we do, you do.” First we model strategies, then practice together, then students apply them independently with growing confidence.

Test Maker Mindset — Students learn to think like the test maker, not just the test taker — spotting patterns, avoiding traps, and approaching questions strategically.

Clear Progress Tracking — Families receive clear, objective data throughout the course to see progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Choose the Timeline That Fits

To make this philosophy work, timing matters. Each course is intentionally scheduled to begin 8 weeks before an official SAT — so students walk in fully prepared for their first exam, with room to continue the three-test cycle afterward.

Each option runs 8 weeks and includes four proctored practice tests on Saturdays.

Why Wagner Prep’s SAT Course Is a Smart Investment

We’ve intentionally priced this course to give families maximum value. For us, it’s not just about test strategies — it’s about building confidence, clarity, and long-term success.

Other programs: Large national companies like Princeton Review and Kaplan often charge $1,200–$1,500 for oversized classes of 20+ students, taught with a generic curriculum.

Wagner Prep: For $995, your student gets small-group attention, experienced instructors, and personalized feedback — with tools that support their entire testing cycle, not just one exam.

And the return can be enormous: stronger SAT scores often unlock scholarships and merit aid worth $20,000–$40,000+, easily paying for the course many times over.
